It is worse on the back feet than the front because the slope is more severe by the rear mounting points. Still a cool feature with a few kinks to work out. Those clogs and the Birkis Im reviewing now are NOT leather - they are waterproof and have great grip on wet surfaces (and so far for me, even some ice and snow). I like that it allows my feet to "breathe" unlike leather flats. Grips are just black. Perfect for the job Heat, cold, massage nothing. Havent tried it on the trail yet but so far it seems good .
