To use a traditional turntable you would need to add a separate pre-amp. you need to know all 5 pair i have purchased thru Amazon fit differently either too big or too small. The left door of the cabinet wasbroken off completely. They work great . These are not identical to the originals, and dont use the same lux-feeling alcantara.
