Some ponds I go to are kinda rocky where you put in and I need to walk into the water a few feet. Along with that I had snap, crackle, and pop sounds and the sound would go out of one speaker and then come out of the other in a hollow sound. I normally get vionic sandals but decided to try these since the price is so much better. It feels like what the Apple Watch was meant to be. They’re very portable too, fold into a nice hard shell case, needed as these are plastic and not as robust as the M&Ds. So the first one came completely broken. I will say that the "white-noise" that some older ANC headsets has is virtually non-existent, which is nice. Although the texture is different than my usual sandal, I feel they are providing a nice grip and as if Im walking on a smooth, rounded, soft massager. I’m usually pretty hard on headphones so I’m trying preemptive damage control this time. The cushion under your feet is not too thick which has happened to me before and does not help with stability
