I just received this product today so I cant speak to how water resistant the case truly is. These get loud enough to listen to with them on the table. Im waiting to see what kinda warranty they have if they will exchange them for the version that works, I will update this review again. On the issue of comfort, I had to swap out for the medium-size inserts, but they now fit very comfortably. We bought a size bigger to allow my toddler some room for growth. I slid on my hardwood floor--I am hoping that the pair I received are just defective soles. One huge plus: The Solo pros have sweat resistance -- woohoo! With these earpads, my old headphone have just come back to life. I missed having them so I just bought a second set for myself. Lots of it for the money, but I will spend more next time for the ribbed strong kind.
