The front of the shoe doesnt have stitching so it stretches to fit your foot and though they are wide in front they have a standard heel with a strap. But this is perhaps the best carrier around and worth the price tag. But these slippers have been amazing! There is also a handy mute button for those inopportune sneezes or coughs.
