Save space. and one of them really, really is. Definitely not clunky. Just glue em back in place. The controls are a bit awkwardly placed, but they do stay put on my desk and they do always function. He listens to music all day and battery life is amazing, using all day long he charges it every other day. I personally really like the SD card, I decided to get this on more of a collectors point and more of a novelty item for my switch. I would definitely get these again. ULTRA stable.
