I tried my brothers ModMic, and it was amazing. Love your product! Problem solved, but unscrewing the cover to adjust the length was in no way noted in the instructions. The inline volume roller works fine but feels cheap. Im not sure why there is such a size discrepancy between the different Dansko models. These products from H&S have kept me from itching or flaking. Get them if you can find a pair! For me, the Sennheisers character seemed to suit me best as I highly value clarity, balance and prefer "brilliance" over "mellow" and "warmth". I put it together but it took a while, I just wish that they would make it more clear that it requires assembly. then it seems to be gone.
