Crispy top end, very detailed, but never harsh. We have purchased the same brand for my other son as well and will purchase again. This is a SCAM. Ive tested it out with my work laptop and home desktop. Even though I bought the correct size after a few times wearing these slippers they were too big These shoes are a huge disappointment. There isnt enormous bass/sub-bass, or high-mid and treble clarity, but you get a full, warm sound when listening to music. If youre just talking on the phone or listening to podcasts these are fine, however I couldnt detect any active noise cancellation. A few things still bother me about the LP140, that is the blinding blue LEDs and the shock absorber feet, among others. these are my first fancy birks and i am glad i took a chance on them!
