I think/hope that the design of the Targhee III will prevent that from happening. I only every change the battery every 3ish weeks and I use it everyday. Tracking is much better than my old Razer chroma. This is my second pair of the Pepper. I was somewhat disappointed with that since I mainly wanted them because of a specific butterfly shown on the listing. I ummed and aahed for quite a while before purchasing, but after a week of constant use working from home I am so pleased I eventually did. I had a cheap plastic shoe rack for years and wanted to replace it with something nicer. I had ordered a different style towel bar from a different seller which I had to return because crucial parts were missing and poorly packaged, so it was refreshing to receive this Kings brand towel bar with excellent packing. We laughed about the name as my husband considered buying it for his friend as a joke. Not much to say except that they seem well built and consistent quality.
