Nonetheless the black material underneath is perfectly serviceable and really quite comfortable. I have charged my phone on it several times already and it does the job really well. These plug anchors did not work well so I had to buy separate anchors that would work for walls. When I plug in my headset directly into the microphone the microphone sounds just fine but when I plug in my headset into my PC the mic cuts out and is very quiet.
