I wanted something close to match the original but slightly darker without going full brown. I had this exact same problem with the cobb hill angelina, which i also bought in sizes 8. yes, they do squeak but I dont care. This maybe be my best Amazon purchase yet! He likes to wear them and they are easy to put on/take off and I am all for it. Although this sandals says for its for men, I went ahead and ordered it in a size that would fit me. • Very simplistic about learning to play with this machine. I have plantar fasciitis and they real help. My only complaints:1. I bought these for my son who has complex needs and gets pain in his ankles and feet with normal slippers and shoes.
