I would keep them as walking sandals or hiking in dry areas but not sure i recommend for wet hikes/beach hikes. The rack would not move at all. Worth the price for the sturdiness. Toy box is our use of this item. I put 2 stars because I liked the design and how thin and sleek it was compared to the popsocket I used to use. I am appalled that Amazon allows fraudulent products on their platform Maybe size down to hold them in. Again, I would probably prefer steel for more rigidity, however, I get it. I wear Vionic often. So I couldn’t see exactly what others has been mentioning about an additional unnecessary piece - until I received it.
