There is ZERO audio quality lost in the cord i received. However taking it on and off I can see becoming a bind. Material quality is bottom of the barrel - the OSB is ragged and flaky - which may explain the numerous complaints of damage in transit - with bad adhesive holding it together. See pics! Hanging my damp facecloths was damaging the finish so I sprayed them with clear polyurethane. I think I got a bad one to be honest, because the case itself is sturdy and the art is amazing. My bricks were about 1-1/2” (give or take), and that pulled the clips to their max. Build quality is good, the touch buttons are responsive and easy to use, the metal finish of the top grill gives that extra professional feeling. So I encourage you to give this book a try.
