If I had to guess (and this is just pure speculation on my part) I would say the problem stems from a very large batch of bad PS4 Pro GPUs. They are good shoes. They do have pretty good noise cancelling capabilities so I can’t be mad at that. I’m happy to say, this stand did its job well and is still doing it just fine.
