During installation, I chose to utilize some medium strength threadlocker on the pinch bolts, and also use patches of clearbra paint protection film at the clamp points of the rack as the flush-mount rails on the Palisade are satin chrome coated. The soles are pretty comfy- and innersoles are removable. We could access the back of our suburban while towing the bike rack. Not worth $50 plus tax and shipping! Thick and has some support. - Earpieces fold up into the headband but cannot twist to lay flat. I chose this as the replacement because I could stack them (I need 1 shelf for each person in our house and I needed 6 shelves) and they were NOT fabric or cheap wood that would break easily. Also the box they came in was torn and ragged and wasn’t even the right box for the shoes. Shoes were great for squatting and olympic powerlifting style workouts; However, about a year later, the buckle for the strap broke. I have the wf1000 and I now finally received wfsp800n, and the base is ooof!
