They are even better than my old ones! In 1974, I was employed by the John Lewis Partnership and worked on IBM 360/50 and 370/135 mainframe computers. So, its all swings and roundabouts. Going back to the poor design choice of the hinged design, it has enough tension from the fabric hinge that the AirPods lid pops open at the slightest touch. Durability is TBD. EDIT:I gave this a harsh review. Thick material and the fit is very flattering. It clamps nicely over the spare tire - even with the tire cover left on - so on and off is not a struggle. They are wonderful! Its just like the picture.
