I found it easier to pry up the ends of the original black shell with my fingernail instead of the tool it comes with, but use the tool to lift the rest of the shell off. It was tolerable at first but when your as busy as me and always on the go doing stuff you need everything to work as intended, thats why I didnt cheap out on my headphones since they were going to be a huge part of my day however they glitch about alot, sometimes dont turn on when pressed and they always fall out of my ear Ive tried all of the extendable ear pieces but none of them have worked, I dont consider my ear to be weirdly shaped but with how much it is the ear pieces should cover a wide I dont know if they will hold up to long term wear.
