You cannot use panniers on the rack when the seat is mountedHaving said this, the seat is very sturdy and my son loves it, it is great way to ride to the park so we can both enjoy a bike ride. Wore them all summer and still going strong, ready for another summer. I will not even open the jar to taste it. This is one of the most uncomfortable sandal I have ever worn.
