No citrus smell at all. It pretty and the design, too. Frankly, I could not have accomplished installation by myself due to the weight and awkwardness of trying to jimmy the hitch into place while threading these nuts on. i have a med size hand, i truly found this out when my EC-1b started to feel like i was pushing a dump truck. However was let down by the flimsy ear tips which didnt fit well and did not really block outside noise that well. Even when I place them high on my skull, the audio comes through very well in a quiet environment. Im a solid womens size 7. I still recommend, and just know that you can get the insoles out to fix them without tearing them, and I probably wont need to buy glue because theyre still pretty tacky to the sole. Close attention must be paid when adjusting the angle to ensure that the the jig does not move or is compensated properly when tightening the adjustment screws. The heel on both sides is also breaking now.
