There is a small bar that holds them in and that unit doesnt take up too much space. All in all, it’s a very nice bundle. The studs are more pastel And I thought they would be but I still love them! Ear bud keeps popping out of ear and even with different tips, but does sound clear when you listen to messages. let me explain I have never owned an anchor winch before so when I bought this one ( Deckhand 40). This was my second pair, as I loved the first ones I owned that had fallen apart over time. What I ended up with a bad buy, this does not match the item. Whether it was the buckle being in in the way, holes giving way, stretching, velcro fraying and coming undone - those things happened. As pictured they come in a very simple box, but dont let that concern you into believing they will be cheap! Why didnt they put this in the instructions? Why didnt they provide extra software for Windows 7 and 8 users? Why didnt they test it on real people?!
