If you are in areas where there are snakes or more dangerous wildlife and terrain, I may say pick a different shoe that has more protection for those hikes, but for all other hikes and water excursions, these are WONDERFUL! Im not sure I can cope :( Im wondering if mines defectively loud or if this is standard for the charger. I LOVE these shoes so much! I ordered my exact size, 8. This worked out well. Of playing music the English lady will say "power off" in a loud noise so it caught me by surprise. They get it clean, but dont remove all the scuffs and stains. It is great for all of our Winter gear during the Summer time. I bought these for my boyfriend for when he goes out running and when he was running they stopped working Great!
